The Builders Association of the Twin Cities RemodelersSM, a council of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), is proud to announce the winners of their 29th Annual Remodeler of Merit Awards (ROMA). The winners received their awards at a banquet held at The Grand Hotel in Minneapolis on Thursday, June 24, 2010.

In this year’s ROMA awards, there were 81 entries in 17 remodeling categories that included additions, bathrooms, deck/patio, interiors, kitchens, lower levels, owner’s suite/bedroom, special and total house. Designed to honor outstanding remodeler members and their work, the awards recognize quality, design, and how well the project met client requirements. A panel of professionals reviewed all entries, choosing the winners based upon before and after photographs, floor plans, plus a design statement explaining the challenges and needs of the client, solutions devised by the remodeler, and the success of the project.

“The ROMA Awards are the highest honor a local remodeler can receive,” explains 2007 banquet emcee and former BATC Executive Vice President, Bob Hanson. “Judged by skilled industry professionals, ROMA winners can be proud that their work has been compared with that of the area’s top remodelers and found to be the best.”
