Project Manager (Construction/Paint Industry)

As a project manager, you would be responsible for leading, managing and directing the field operations to deliver outstanding client experiences through effective communication and driving superior quality. Prioritize financial success by ensuring accurate job details, streamlined scheduling, and adequate resources are in place before starting any project. Lead training initiatives and support problem-solving efforts to ensure seamless project execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple job sites and crews, ensuring labor performance and adherence to DE goals.
• Manage and control production expenditures to align with targeted budget.
• Manages the subcontractor process, including selling, scheduling and payroll management.
• Completes salesforce activities to ensure proper job management such as but not limited to: Confirm task items, create change orders, accurate scheduling, accuracy of material reports and create billings.
• Collaborate alongside clients to provide sampling and color designs.
• Maintains close working relationships with client supervisors and project managers ensuring good communication.
• Manage and directs employees through annual performance evaluations.

Essential Functions

• Actively participate in pulse and segment meetings to align project goals with company objectives.
• Assists the Operations Manager with the planning, developing and implementing of the Strategy for the to meet operational goals and budgets.
• Participates in monthly financial analysis to discuss potential procedural and operational changes to drive efficiencies and cost reduction strategies.
• Collaborates with sales and estimating to ensure accuracy between pricing and project scope.
• Ensure comprehensive understanding and management of human resources policies to guarantee employee compliance and adherence.
• Maintains open, honest and ethical relationships with all employed personnel to foster a creative and supportive work environment.
• Maintains accuracy of the company’s Customer Relationship Management database (Salesforce).
• Supports marketing strategy to complement overall company’s sales goal.

Qualifications

• Painting experience – knowledge in all applications including spray, brush & roll. 3 years minimum required
• Effective communication skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Competency with basic computer systems (Salesforce experience is a plus!)
• Leadership ability
• Team-oriented
• Ability to handle multiple work projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales experience is a plus
