Reason To Attend #1: Trade Shows are a Great Way to See New Items for 2012

According to Oxford Economics, executive decision makers consistently rank exhibitions as their “number one” choice for obtaining purchasing information. That’s why we encourage you to join us at BATC’s Minnesota Builders Show (MBS) on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This year’s MBS will feature more than 200 exhibiting companies showcasing the best they have to offer in the year ahead.

In addition to the exhibits, attendees will find value in the new Exhibitor Demonstration Stage and in the What’s Up with 2012 Industry Forum taking place for FREE just prior to the show floor opening from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Featured presenters are Tom Gillaspy, Minnesota State Demographer, and Eliot Eisenberg, NAHB Economist.

Reason To Attend #2: You Got to Know When to Hold ‘Em and When to Fold ‘Em

An all new feature of BATC’s Minnesota Builders Show (MBS) is our casino night, taking place as the show floor closes at 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012. We’re holding this event with the Builders Association of Minnesota and you won’t want to miss it. Aces High will be dealing the cards, spinning the wheel and we’ll cheer each other on for a great night of Mardis Gras fun. The event is free to builders, remodelers, architects and interior designers.

Make plans now to attend the show (from 3-8 pm), where we’ll provide a free Mardis Gras-style dinner to four folks from each attending company, and stay for the new Casino night.

Reason To Attend #3: BATC Foundation to Recognize Donors, Partners

The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) Foundation was busy last year completing four significant projects for needy Twin City families, including two major remodels and constructing a new home.

The Foundation will be recognizing its partners and donors at a new Recognition Luncheon taking place at the Minnesota Builders Show (MBS) on Thursday, February 23, from 11:30 to 1:00 pm. This brand new event will feature former TV News Anchor and Radio Personality Don Shelby as the keynote. The cost of the event is $25.

Look, you’ve gotta have lunch anyway as you head down to the Minnesota Builders Show. Why not come at 11:30 and hear about the Foundation and listen to Don Shelby. The Foundation luncheon is followed by a FREE industry forecast – What’s Up with 2012 – featuring presenters Tom Gillaspy, Minnesota State Demographer, and Eliot Eisenberg, NAHB Economist.

Register for these two great events and then attend the show from 3-8 pm. But you’re day isn’t done yet – join us for the new Casino Night from 8 pm to midnight.
