Brush Masters is Giving Back to the CommunityBrush Masters has a long-standing tradition of giving, believing that as members of the community, we each need to do our part to help support and encourage all our neighbors and friends.
- 2007-Brush Masters participated in the Extreme Makeover for the Sharp Family at 55 Pleasant Aveune Tonka Bay, where we volunteered our time and materials. www.thesharpproject.com
- Christmas 2006--Brush Masters participated in CAP's "Hope for Families" program, in which we sponsored twelve children from different families.
- Christmas 2006--Brush Masters took part in the "Toys for Tots" drive, offering free pick-up services from all our building partners who wished to participate. Our goal was to fill a delivery truck to capacity!
- 2006--Brush Masters donated services in multiple homes for the non-profit organization, "Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota," which works through local affiliates to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent, safe, affordable housing for families in need.
- Brush Masters has donated painting services (standard size room, any color) for a silent auction to a non-profit organization founded by Famous Dave's called "Life Skills Center for Leadership"
- Over the past several years, Brush Masters has been a big supporter of a non-profit organization called "YouthCARE." YouthCARE's mission is to promote respect for self and others, develop future leaders, and provide youth with positive multicultural activities and relationships with caring adults.
- July 31, 2006--As a "Grand Slam Sponsor," Brush Masters contributed $10,000 to YouthCARE's "Celebration of Urban Youth" event at the Metrodome.
- September 1999-2006--Event Sponsor for YouthCARE's Annual "Play a City Course for City Kids" Golf Event (annual event).
- February 1999--Painted the new YouthCARE office in the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis.
- Several times since 1994--Painted the interior and exterior of Camp Sunrise Lodge and exterior of the Camp Sunrise Storage Building in Rush City, MN.
- 1996-1998--Donated Free Painting Gift Certificates for Annual YouthCARE Benefit Event.
- Donated $500.00 to Special Olympics.
- Donated $200.00 to the MS Society.
